TEMPORARY CLOSURE C47 LEY LANE
(WESTBURY ON SEVERN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C47 Ley Lane, from outside the property known as ‘Green
Farm’ to outside the property known as ‘Leycourt Farm’ for a distance of approximately 700 metres. The reason for the said closure is for level crossing maintenance works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 23:00hrs on 9th September 2026 until 05:00hrs on 10th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS
(DRYBROOK PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below. 
SCHEDULE

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for carriageway resurfacing works. There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 8th September 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures
and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any
order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 14th September 2026

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 403065 ROAD FROM JUNCTION WITH FOXES BRIDGE TO JUNCTION WITH VALLEY ROAD
(CINDERFORD TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 403065 Road from its junction with Foxes Bridge to the
junction with Valley Road, and from its junction with Foxes Bridge Road to outside of the property known as ‘No.12 Upper Bilson Road’ for a distance of approximately 100 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of BT Openreach
The road is expected to be closed between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 10th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C354 LOWER ROAD
(RUSPIDGE AND SOUDLEY PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C354 Lower Road from its junction with The Roman Road to its junction with Lower Road and Top Road for a distance of approximately 70 metres. The reason for the said closure is for bridge maintenance works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 7th September 20026 until 16:00hrs on 30th October 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up
to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(AWRE PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405102 Road from junction at Woodville to Little
Loiterpin from outside of the property known as ‘Crookam Farm’ to a point approximately 50 metres Northwards for a total distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of BT Openreach
The road is expected to be closed between 11:30 and 17:00 on 23rd September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for pole works on behalf of BT Openreach.
The road is expected to be closed between 09:00 and 17:00 on 23rd September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of B4228 from junction with Miss
Graces’ Lane to Boughcliff House from its junction with Forest Way to outside of the property known as ‘Little Chase’ for a distance of approximately 70 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for pole works on behalf of BT Openreach.
The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00 to 17:00 on the 21st September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. (LYDBROOK PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405034 The Moorwood from outside the property known as ‘Moorwood Cottage’ to outside the property known as ‘Morang’ for a distance of approximately 155 metres. The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 24th September 2026 until 18:00hrs on 25th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to
eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
