NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order : U92407, Lower Lye Aymestrey , Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U92407, Lower Lye Aymestrey, from the junction of Old Shop Lane, to the property 'Oakleigh'. Grid Ref: 339482/267001.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U92407 onto the C1009, onto the A4110, onto the U92407 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to drainage pipe installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st of September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
