(RIDGMONT BYPASS, RIDGMONT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Ridgmont Bypass, Ridgmont between the roundabout and Flying horse farm.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 23rd September between the hours of 0900-1530. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure will be via A507, A6, A421 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Millbrook Road, Houghton Conquest outside The Bungalow approx. 200m from the junction with B530.

This temporary closure is required to enable stop tap replacement work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 23 to 25 September 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure will be via Sandhill Close, A507, B530 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Tyburn Lane, Pulloxhill between Whinnetts Way and number 40.

This temporary closure is required to enable Ditch Clearance and vegetation removal work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 22 to 24 September between the hours of 0900-1530. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route will be via Greenfield Rd, Church Rd, Tyburn Lane and vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of each of the following roads: Wilstead Hill, Haynes From Luton Rd to Old Main Road, Haynes. This temporary closure is required to enable Civils, Resurfacing with paco and road marking works

to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 8 to 18 September 2026 from 2000hrs to 0600hrs

The alternative route will be via A6, A421, C94, A507, A6 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 8 September 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 22 September 2026 between the hours 0800 and 1800 The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure will be via Flitton Rd, Silsoe Rd, Ampthill rd, Barton Rd, A6, Sand Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 22 September 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

This temporary closure is required to enable underground duct installation for new service work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 7 to 9 September between the hours of 0800-1800. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

There is no alternative route for this closure.
