(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 TTRO/R 5.4.352

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate mechanical mast infrastructure works, Eskdaill Street, Dalkeith, will be closed from the A6094 High Street junction to the car park. The Order has effect on 7 September 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 2 October 2026. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly sign posted.

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC) (VARIATION NO 19) ORDER 2026 TO/R5.3.193

Midlothian Council on 24 August 2026 made the above Order, which comes into force on 7 September 2026. The Order applies Double Yellow Line restrictions on Park Crescent, Bonnyrigg at its junctions with Dobbie’s Road. Details may be examined from 27 August to 5 October 2026 at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk , at Libraries or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk. Anyone wishing to question the validity of these Orders or of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of such Act or of any relevant regulation has not been complied with, may within six weeks from 24 August 2026 apply for this purpose to the Court of Session.

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC) (VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202_ TO/R5.3.201

The Council proposes to designate two existing off-road parking bays at High Street, Loanhead as being available only for short stays by Blue Badge holders. Details may be examined from 27 August to 18 September 2026 at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk, at Libraries or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send details of the grounds of objection in writing, quoting reference TO/R5.3.201, to The Legal Services Manager, Midlothian Council, Fairfi eld House, 8 Lothian Road, Dalkeith EH22 3AA or to legal@midlothian.gov.uk, to arrive not later than 18  September  2026.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 TTRO/R 5.4.356

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works, A6106 Millerhill Road will be closed from Millerhill Roundabout to the junction with Harelaw. The Order shall have effect on 06 September 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 13 September 2026. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffi c will be clearly sign posted.
