What is happening?

SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Avenue Road, Rowley Regis)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026
intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding via Avenue Road from its junction of the boundary of The Compact Car Centre (CCC) and Dyfed Steels to its junction with Station Road. Traffic will be diverted via Station Road, Oldbury Road, Cardale Street & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 11/09/2026, effective from 07/09/2026 (8am-4pm only). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Farm Road, Oldbury
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026
intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding via Farm Road from its junction with Parkfield Road to its junction with Hadley Street. Traffic will be diverted via New Henry Street, Causeway Green Road, Wolverhampton Road, Pound Road & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 10/09/2026, effective from 08/09/2026. Purpose – to facilitate repairs to a defective water pipe by South Staffs Water.
