(PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY (BRIDLEWAY) 335A

(STRAWBERRY LANE), BISHOPSWORTH, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS, EQUESTRIAN TRAFFIC AND PEDAL CYCLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to pedestrians, equestrian traffic and pedal cycles that length of Public Right of Way (Bridleway) 335a (Strawberry Lane) which extends from Sherrin Way in a southerly, then westerly, then southerly direction for 264 metres.

The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the public right of way (bridleway) and becomes operative from 7th September 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 7th September 2026 and 1st January 2027).

(UNNAMED FOOTPATH BETWEEN HAZEL ROAD AND WILLINTON ROAD TO BROOK FOOTPATH AND WILLINTON ROAD TO BROOK FOOTPATH, KNOWLE, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of footpaths specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpaths and becomes operative from 16th September 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hazel Road, Airport Road, Creswicke Road, Alard Road, Willinton Road and vice versa
SCHEDULE – Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians

(CAMERON WALK AND GAINSBOROUGH SQUARE, LOCKLEAZE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is:-

1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads as specified in the Schedule to this Notice; and

2. to suspend, temporarily, when appropriate signs are covered, the existing one way traffic in Gainsborough Square working:-
(a) south eastwards in its northern carriageway; and

(b) south westwards in its eastern carriageway – so as to allow access and egress for works vehicles.

The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and becomes operative from 14th September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months.

However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 14th September 2026 and 2nd November 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bonnington Walk, Landseer Avenue, Hogarth Walk, Romney Avenue, Brangwyn Grove, Gainsborough Square (part unaffected)
