(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Terry’s Lane from its junction with B4447 The Pound to its junction with Poundfield Lane.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Terrys Lane, Grange Road, Lower Road, Station Hill and B4447 The Pound.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate work in the said road, namely gas mains replacement and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation from 00.01 hours on Monday 14th September until 23:59 hours on Monday 5th October 2026. The prohibition of driving will be in place when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
