Order made: To close that part of U53009 Vincent Rd from its junction with C2290 Wylds Ln to its junction with U53009 Cecil Rd.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent.

Order made: To close that part of U54279 Catherine Rd from its junction with U54268 Swinton Ln to its junction with U54278 Worboys Rd.

Reason: Utility work by BT.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U53123 St Swithins St from its junction with U53113 Trinity St to its junction with U53112 The Cross and to temporarily suspend article 8 schedule 1 of The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) (Amendment) Order 1980 to allow two-way traffic on U53115 Queen Street to enable access for businesses and residents for the duration of the works; and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Trinity Street and The Trinity, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow two-way traffic on U53113 Trinity Street and U53114 The Trinity to enable access for businesses and residents for the duration of the works.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: N/A – Road users will have to carry on the A38 St. Nicholas St.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2209 Abbots Wood from its junction with C2201 Wadborough Rd to its junction with C2209 Station Rd.

Reason: Installation of poles by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2201 Wadborough Rd, C2055 Woodbury Ln, B4084 Pershore Rd, C2100 Wadborough Rd, C2100 Abbotswood Road to Mill Ln, C2109 Mill Ln, C2209 Station Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 22 September 2026.

(B4637 Tolladine Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4637 Tolladine Rd from its junction with U51317 Rose Ave to its junction with B4205 Shrub Hill Rd.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: Vehicle height under 3.9 metres: B4637 Tolladine Rd (part), B4637 Middle Hollow Dr, B4638 Woodgreen Dr, B4636 Newtown Rd, B4205 Midland Rd, B4205 Shrub Hill Rd and vice versa. Proposed Order: To close that part of: 1 – C2225/B4082 to North Piddle Ln from its junction with U43200 North Piddle Ln to its junction with Hunts Fold (private road). 2 – U43200 North Piddle Ln from its junction with C2225/B4082 to North Piddle Ln for a distance of 70 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2225/B4082 to North Piddle Ln (part), B4082 Naunton Rd, B4082 Pershore Rd, A422 Worcester Rd, U43200 North Piddle Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 23 September 2026.

(U62006 Upper Ferry Lane, Callow End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U62006 Upper Ferry Ln from its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Ln for a distance of 275 metres in a north westerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: B4424 Upton Rd, U62005 Lower Ferry Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 21 September 2026.

(A44 Bromyard Road, Crown East) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of A44 Bromyard Rd from its junction with A44 Roundabout junction with A44 & A4103 to its junction with C2066 Crown East.

Reason: Development works by M & J Evans Construction on behalf of Redrow Homes.

Alternative route: A4103 Bransford Rd, A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4103 Dragons Cross, A4103 Storridge into Herefordshire, A44 Worcester Rd, A44 Darbys Green, A44 Doddenham, A44 Broadwas, A44 Bromyard Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (21:00-06:00). Commencing: 18 September 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpaths KP-517, 518 and 520, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure Order) 2026

Order made: To close Footpath KP-517 & 518 from Taylor’s Lane to Broomhall Lane and KP-520 from A38 Bath Road to the junction of the Footpaths KP-517 and 518.

The Order has been made due to plant and vehicle movement for Archaeological investigation works.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no suitable alternative route.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 31 August 2026.

(District of Wychavon – Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Plough Road and Foredraught Lane, Tibberton]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Tibberton:

Plough Road (West Side): From its junction with Foredraught Lane for a distance of 29 metres in a southerly direction and 10 metres in a northerly direction.

Foredraught Lane (Both Sides): From its junction with Plough Road for a distance of 22 metres in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to impose a prohibition of waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Worcester:

Sherriff Street (east side): from its junction with Tolladine Road for a distance of 224 metres to its junction with Newtown Road.

Sherriff Street (west side): from its junction with Tolladine Road for a distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction and for a distance of 119 metres in a northerly direction from its junction with Newtown Road.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
