Proposed Order: To close that part of U53123 St Swithins St from its junction with U53113 Trinity St to its junction with U53112 The Cross and to temporarily suspend article 8 schedule 1 of The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) (Amendment) Order 1980 to allow two-way traffic on U53115 Queen Street to enable access for businesses and residents for the duration of the works; and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Trinity Street and The Trinity, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow two-way traffic on U53113 Trinity Street and U53114 The Trinity to enable access for businesses and residents for the duration of the works.

Alternative route: A4103 Bransford Rd, A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4103 Dragons Cross, A4103 Storridge into Herefordshire, A44 Worcester Rd, A44 Darbys Green, A44 Doddenham, A44 Broadwas, A44 Bromyard Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (21:00-06:00). Commencing: 18 September 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpaths KP-517, 518 and 520, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure Order) 2026

Order made: To close Footpath KP-517 & 518 from Taylor’s Lane to Broomhall Lane and KP-520 from A38 Bath Road to the junction of the Footpaths KP-517 and 518.

The Order has been made due to plant and vehicle movement for Archaeological investigation works.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no suitable alternative route.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 31 August 2026.

(District of Wychavon – Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Plough Road and Foredraught Lane, Tibberton]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Tibberton:

Plough Road (West Side): From its junction with Foredraught Lane for a distance of 29 metres in a southerly direction and 10 metres in a northerly direction.

Foredraught Lane (Both Sides): From its junction with Plough Road for a distance of 22 metres in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to impose a prohibition of waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Worcester:

Sherriff Street (east side): from its junction with Tolladine Road for a distance of 224 metres to its junction with Newtown Road.

Sherriff Street (west side): from its junction with Tolladine Road for a distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction and for a distance of 119 metres in a northerly direction from its junction with Newtown Road.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
