NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable highway improvements work to facilitate the installation of EV charging points to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time, on any day and/or from loading and unloading, at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders) along that section of the Whinfell Drive, (west side), from a point 10m south of its junction with Jenkin Rise, extending in a northerly direction for approx. 5m.

The Order will come into operation on 1st September 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 2 weeks and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
