What is happening?

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION 41119/482005 LARKHAY ROAD (PROW FOOTPATH EHU6/ZGL43) (HUCCLECOTE PARISH) GLOUCESTER CITY AND TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the 4119/482005 Larkhay Road and Public Footpaths EHU6 and ZGL43 as described in the schedule below;

The reason for the restriction is to protect the structural integrity of Larkhay Overbridge whilst further investigation is undertaken.

The road was originally closed for 5 days by Notice which commenced on the 19th August 2026.

The works have not been completed and it has been necessary to make an Order. This Order can close the road for up to 18 months from the date of the notice, or until the works have been completed.
