U54M ALFORD – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U54M Alford – 28.08.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 28.08.26 until 10.09.26 and will prohibit any person from driving on the on the U54M, Alford from junction C52M to Balquharn Farm Cottages.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety to allow for telecom fibre installation works. An alternative route is available via the U54M –
