(Temporary Closing Of B652 Bower Heath Lane, Harpenden) Order 2026
Notice is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B652 Bower Heath Lane, Harpenden from its junction with B653 Lower Luton Road north eastwards to its junction with Bower Heath, a distance of approximately 695m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B653 Lower Luton Road, B651 (Lamer Lane, Ballsough Hill/High Street) and B652 (High Street/Kimpton Bottom/Bower Heath Lane).
The Order is needed because cabling works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 14 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing And Waiting Restrictions On Various Roads In Letchmore Heath, Radlett And Harpenden) Order 2026
Notice is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Common Lane, Letchmore Heath/Radlett from its junction with Grange Lane north eastwards to its junction with New Road, a distance of approximately 1040m.
An alternative route will be via Grange Lane, Primrose Lane, B462 Radlett Road and New Road.
2. that length of East Common, Harpenden from its junction with Limbrick Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Cross Lane, a distance of approximately 313m.
An alternative route will be via Limbrick Road, A1081 St Albans Road and Cross Lane.
3. that length of Roundwood Lane, Harpenden from its junction with Falconers Field south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Kinsbourne Green Lane, a distance of approximately 1255m.
An alternative route will be via Roundwood Lane, A1081 Luton Road, The Common and Kinsbourne Green Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect on 14 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(Temporary Closing Of The Service Road Fronting Nos.63-109 St Albans Road, Sandridge) Order 2026
Notice is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the service road fronting Nos.63-109 St Albans Road, Sandridge from its junction with B651 St Albans Road north eastwards for its entire length ("the Road").
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 15 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 3 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

Notice is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B651 The Hill, Wheathampstead from its junction with Hill Dyke Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 152m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via B651 (Wheathampstead Road/High Street/St Albans Road/Sandridge Road/Stonecross), A1081 St Peters Street, A1057 (Hatfield Road/St Albans Road West), A1001 Comet Way, A6129 Stanborough Road, B653 (Stanborough Road/Brocket Road/Marford Road/Cory Wright Way/Codicote Road) and B651 (Station Road/High Street/The Hill).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

Notice is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Welclose Street, St Albans from its junction with Fishpool Street north eastwards to its junction with Lower Dagnall Street, a distance of approximately 130m.
The alternative route will be via Fishpool Street, Branch Road, Mount Pleasant and Lower Dagnall Street.
2. that length of Dellfield, St Albans from its junction with Camp Road south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 184m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect on 31 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

Notice is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Marshalls Heath Lane, Wheathampstead from its junction with B653 Lower Luton Road north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Mackerye End, a distance of approximately 724m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B653 Lower Luton Road, Common Lane and Mackerye End.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Hertfordshire (Various Roads, County Of Hertfordshire) (Revocations) Order 2026
Notice is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (1984 Act) to revoke various existing Orders no longer relevant in the County of Hertfordshire as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 31 August 2026.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be viewed from 27 August 2026 to 8 October 2026 during office hours at: Main Reception, Farnham House, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, or online at: www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders, by selecting St Albans and Hertsmere and looking at Ref: J00126.
