(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2026

On 17 August 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 62 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on Tour De 4, Cycle Event) on Tak Ma Doon Road, Kilsyth from the extended North kerb line of A803 Stirling Road to the extended South Kerb line of the B818.

Alternative routes: Vehicles on A803 Stirling Road at the south side of the closure wishing to travel to B818 at the north side of the closure should travel generally eastwards on A803 (Stirling Road, Kilsyth Road, Glasgow Road), northwards on A872 (Denny Road, Nethermains Road), westwards on B818, to the north side of the closure.

Vehicles on B818 at the north side of the closure wishing to travel to A803 Stirling Road at the south side of the closure should travel generally eastwards on B818, southwards on A872 (Nethermains Road, Denny Road), westwards on A803 (Glasgow Road, Kilsyth Road, Stirling Road), to the south side of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure. Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Sunday, 6 September 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 6 September 2026.
