What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

GIBRALTAR LANE, LEAMINGTON HASTINGS & CALIAS LANE, BIRDINGBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works for repair to damaged bridge wall.
Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Gibraltar Lane, Station Road, Napton Road, High Street, Rugby Road, Southam Road, Hospital Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: CPC Civils Ltd, Tel: 0777 262 4697.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

DUKE OF YORK AVENUE, BISHOPS TACHBROOK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable repair works to water pipe.
Order Commences: 9 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Duke of York Avenue, Majestic Way, Lionheart Avenue, Harbury Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 0330 008 0820.

POPLAR ROAD, BISHOPS ITCHINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to replace decayed telegraph pole.
Order Commences: 7 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Poplar Road, Old Road, Central Drive, Ladbroke Road, Fisher Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Core Highways, Tel: 0330 043 3030.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
