(CHRYSTON ROAD, FAULDHEAD)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

On 25 August 2026 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works, and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on that section of Chryston Road, Fauldhead between its junction with Market Road, Blairhill Avenue, and Carresbrook Avenue and its junction with Sauchenhall Road, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.

This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Monday, 07 September 2026 until 23.59 hours on Sunday, 13 September 2026.

Alternative Routes

The alternative routes will be by way of Sauchenhall Road, Gartshore

Road, Mollins Road, the B8048 Waterside Road, Market Road, Kirkintilloch, Calfmuir Road, and Muckcroft Road, and these routes will be sign posted.
