Wilsden - Temporary Road Closures Due To Telecommunication Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

HAWORTH ROAD / CULLINGWORTH ROAD / BENTS LANE, WILSDEN, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Haworth Road / Cullingworth Road / Bents Lane, Wilsden, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the lengths of Haworth Road / Cullingworth Road / Bents Lane, as follows:

• Haworth Road / Cullingworth Road from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Doll Lane.

• Bents Lane from its junction with Haworth Road for approximately 25 metres in a northerly direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available:

• Haworth Road / Cullingworth Road via Haworth Road (unaffected section), Lane Side, Haworth Road, Wilsden Road Stony Lane, Allerton Road, Thornton Road, Halifax Road, New Road, Main Road, Manywells Brow, Cullingworth Road (unaffected section) and vice versa.

• Bents Lane via Bents Lane (unaffected section), Harden Lane Main Street, Haworth Road and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation effect at 19:00 hours on the 1st September 2026 and remain in force until 07:00 hours on the 2nd September 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
