Salisbury Road, Breamore, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to telecommunications works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Salisbury Road between its junction with a point approximately 20 meters south west of The Wheelwrights Post and its junction with a point approximately 140 meters north east of Middle Burgate House
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wheelwrights Post, A31 Poulner Hill, A31 Romsey Road, Salisbury Road, A326, A36, Southampton Road, Churchill Way South, New Bridge Road, Downton Road, High Road, Breamore Road, Wheelwrights Post
DURATION OF ORDER: from 17th September 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days, working full time)
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Traffic Control 123 to carry out telecommunications works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: paigeballard@tc123.co.uk
Traffic Control 123 will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
