ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 7/9/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 18/9/26.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: ROAD PAST HILLHEAD COTTAGE, LANE TO LARKBEARE FARM & ROAD PAST WILLENS COTTAGE, MAMHEAD / KENTON
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ROAD PAST HILLHEAD COTTAGE, ROAD FROM PITT COTTAGE TO FIVE LANES CROSS, ROAD PAST SYRED GARDEN NURSERY, ROAD FROM HENSFORD ROAD TO PORT ROAD, ROAD FROM BLACK FOREST LODGE TO HENSFORD COTTAGES, ROAD FROM MAMHEAD GRANGE CROSS TO BASKET LODGE CROSS & VICE VERSA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: PATCHING & DRAINAGE.

From 28/9/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 9/10/26. Between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: BRUCKTON COPSE TO ASHPLAT COPSE, DITTISHAM, OUTSIDE CHIPTON BARTON FARM TO ASHPLAT COPSE
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - CAPTON CROSS TO BRUCKTON CROSS, HEMBOROUGH POST CROSS TO CAPTON CROSS, A3122, TOWNSTAL ROAD, TOWNSTAL CRESCENT, ARCHWAY DRIVE, MILL CRESCENT, OLD MILL LANE.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: TREE CUTTING, POLE INSTALLATION, CABLING & SPLICING.
