New Road & Cycle Path – from the junction with B2192 Ringmer Road to the junction with U5017 Gote Lane.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2192 Ringmer Road – A26 Malling Down, Malling Hill, Malling Street, Cuilfail Tunnel roundabout, Cuilfail Tunnel, Southerham Road – A27 Southerham roundabout – A27(T) Ranscombe Hill, Beddingham roundabout – A27 Eastbourne Road – C113 Station Road, The Street, Lacys Hill, Bishops Walk, New Road and vice versa.

The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 26 and 30 October 2026.

Ringmer Road Cycle Path – from the junction with C113 New Road for a distance of 460 metres west.

The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 24 August and 6 October 2026.

Diversion via B2104 Ersham Road, Hailsham Road – B2247 Dittons Road, Dittons Road roundabout – A22

Dittons Road roundabout South, Golden Jubilee Way –

A27 Dittons Road roundabout North, Polegate bypass, Cop Hall roundabout – A22 Hailsham Road, Polegate Road, Arlington Eagles roundabout – A295 South Road and vice versa.

Gordon Road – from the junction with A295 South Road to the junction with U7716 Windsor Road.

To maintain access a suspension of one-way traffic will be in place (revert to two-way traffic) on Gordon Road, Hailsham during these works.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic set out above.

The Order commences 24 August 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 24 August and 31 October 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.
