Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 24th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Hayle. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th September 2026 to 4th October 2026.
Roads subject to prohibition - Carwin Rise, Penmare Terrace, Hollows Terrace, Madison Terrace, Beatrice Terrace, Copper Terrace, Market Square, Fore Street, Commercial Road, Hayle Terrace, Penpol Terrace, Hayle for their entire lengths.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Hayle. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Carwin Rise, Penmare Terrace, Hollows Terrace, Madison Terrace, Beatrice Terrace, Copper Terrace, Market Square, Fore Street, Commercial Road, Hayle Terrace, Penpol Terrace, Hayle for their entire lengths.
The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
