PUBLIC NOTICE

ARCHER LANE - PROPOSED ROAD HUMP

Notice is hereby given that Sheffield City Council in exercise of its powers under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, (hereinafter called ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with section 90C of the Act, intends to install road humps as below:

This measure is aimed at improving visibility and road safety of the users of the pedestrian crossing, drivers and cyclists. There is currently no formal pedestrian crossing facility on this section of Archer Lane to provide safer walking routes for the high pedestrian footfall predominantly from local schools close by.
