What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHADWICK NICK LANE, CRICH
WHEN: 17 September to 18 September 2026 (between 08:00 to 18:00).
WHERE: Chadwick Nick Lane, Crich, approx. 480m north of Dale Close for approx. 380m.
REASON: To facilitate the renewal of decaying telegraph pole.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cowper Lane, B5035, Market Place, The Common, Crich Road, Top Hagg Lane, Chadwick Nick Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
