What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
THE BENT, CURBAR
WHEN: 14 September and 15 September 2026 (between 08:00 and 18:00 each day).
WHERE: The Bent, Curbar between Ember Croft and Longwaite.
REASON: To facilitate BT pole replacement
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Bent, The Hillock, Curbar Lane, Dukes Drive and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
