NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or
waiting in those lengths of road at Bessacarr and Cantley in
the City of Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to
this notice on the dates and times referred to in the said
Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for the preparation and provision of
specialist carriageway micro surfacing and subsequent road
markings including pre-patching.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicles affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses
directly affected by the works are to be notified of the scheme
to include access arrangements.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Any contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed
by this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being
issued and the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

Notice is hereby given that on the 26th day of August 2026 the
City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the provisions
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 1st
day of September 2026 will be to:-
(i) Introduce No Stopping on School Keep Markings
restrictions in force 24 hours a day on the following length of
road:
Grady Drive, Balby
North Side
From a point 77 metres southeast of its junction with
Wellingley Road for distance of 43 metres in generally
southeasterly direction
(ii) introduce a no waiting at any time restriction on the
following roads:
Grady Drive, Balby
South Side
From a point 97 metres southeast of its junction of Wellingley
Road for a distance of 22 metres in a generally southeasterly
direction
