(PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit any vehicle to enter or be in the layby section of the A4500 at any time except for access as indicated in the schedule to the Order and detailed in the schedule below.

A COPY of the Order may be inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700. A copy of the Order can also be obtained on request by emailing www.northnorthants.gov.uk If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose. The Order will become effective on 24th August 2026.
