What is happening?

THE NORTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Largs Promenade Largs) - (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, by the Road Traffic (Special Events) Act 1994 which will make it unlawful for vehicles/persons to access Largs Promenade (with the exception of Contractual and Emergency Service Vehicles involved in Largs Viking Festival).

The Order will be in operation from 8:00am on 27th August 2026 to 10:00pm on 7th September 2026 or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
