What is happening?
The North Ayrshire Council (Garnock Street-Main Street, Kilbirnie) (Temporary Road Closure/Waiting & Loading Restrictions) Order 2026
Order made under Section 14(1) of the, Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful to drive any motor vehicle (with the exception of Contractual and Emergency Service Vehicles) on Garnock Street, Kilbirnie from Bridgend Roundabout to Garnock Street, Car Park and will make it unlawful to park any vehicle on Main Street, Kilbirnie, west kerbline between Number 34 to 40 (with the exception of Contractual and Emergency Service Vehicles), by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near that road.
The Order will be in operation from 12.01am on 31st August 2026 to 11.59pm on 11th October 2026 or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
