ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Old Priory Lane, Bracknell in both directions between the new turning head and the end of the street
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: N/A – No through route
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while developers carry out excavation works in relation to Section 278 works
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 24th August 2026, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place on the 26th August 2026 – 18th September 2026
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
