(WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to:

1. Introduce Waiting Restrictions on the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule

A copy of the relevant documents may be inspected by appointment at the Principal Offices of the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, 2 Llys Cadwyn, Taff Street, Pontypridd, CF37 4TH, at Mountain Ash Library, Canolfan Pennar, Oxford Street, Mountain Ash, CF45 3HD or online at www.rctcbc.gov.uk 

Objections to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to the Traffic Manager, Sardis House, Sardis Road, Pontypridd, CF37 1DU or by email on trafficservices@rctcbc.gov.uk by 18th September 2026

SCHEDULE 1 – Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
1. A4059 New Road (Lletty Turner Layby)

a. The northern junction, from the north of its junction with New Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 32 metres

b. The northern junction, from the south of its junction with New Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 12.5 metres

c. The southern junction, from the north of its junction with New Road, north-eastwards for a distance of 13 metres

d. The southern junction, from the south of its junction with New Road, north-eastwards for a distance of 32 metres
