What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (DEVON STREET) 

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY RESTRICTION) 

1. The Council of the London Borough of Southwark hereby gives notice that to enable development works by Regal One London Construction Ltd or their appointed contractor, it intends to make an order, the effect of which is to suspend the one way restriction on Devon Street.

2.Whilst the works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are in place, traffic may use Devon Street in both a northbound and southbound direction, between the junction with Old Kent Road adjacent to 709 Old Kent Road and the roundabout at the northern end of the western branch of Devon Street.

3.The suspension will be in place from the 7th of September until the 31st of December 2026.

4.This order remains valid for 18 months from the 3rd of September 2026. Further information may be obtained by contacting Network Management at ttmo@southwark.gov.uk
