What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, BINFIELD, WARFIELD AND WINKFIELD) (RESTRICTED ROAD AND SPEED LIMIT) ORDER NO2 2026
Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 82(2), 84(1) and 84(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effects of the Order:
- To introduce the new speed limits contained in Schedule 1.
- To revoke the existing lengths of speed limit contained in Schedule 2.
The Order was made on the 24th August 2026 and will come into effect on the 1st September 2026
Order to be Consolidated into this Order and revoked:
Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Various Roads, Binfield, Warfield and Winkfield) (Restricted Road and Speed Limit) Order 2026.
All existing speed limits contained in the Traffic Regulation Order entitled ‘Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Various Roads, Binfield, Warfield and Winkfield) (Restricted Road and Speed Limit) Order 2026’ that are not mentioned above will remain in force and will be consolidated into this Order.
Objections:
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the 24th of August 2026, make application for this purpose to the High Court.

New 30mph Speed Limit
Osborne Lane — From its junction with A3095 Forest Road / B3034 Warfield Street to a point 525 metres north of that junction.
SCHEDULE 2
Revoke existing 40mph Speed Limit
Osborne Lane — From its junction with A3095 Forest Road / B3034 Warfield Street to a point 525 metres north of that junction.
All distances are approximate and, where applicable, are taken from the centre of the stated junctions.
