Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
A225 Riverhill, Sevenoaks, TN15 0RS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the replacement of a streetlight column, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit northbound traffic on part of A225 Riverhill, Sevenoaks, on or after 3rd September 2026 for up to 1 night between 21.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed northbound from Morleys Roundabout to just past the end of the central island barrier.
The alternative route is via Weald Interchange, A21 Sevenoaks Bypass, A25 Westerham Road, A25 Worships Hill, A224 Amherst Hill, A224 London Road, A225 High Street, A225 Tonbridge Road and A225 Riverhill.
B2027 Chequers Hill, Bough Beech, TN8 7PH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of a detailed examination of the rail over road bridge, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2027 Chequers Hill, Bough Beech, on or after 2nd September 2026 for up to 1 night between 22.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 20m either side of railway bridge.

Beechenlea Lane, Swanley, BR8 7PR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of access to telegraph poles in order to provide fibre overhead cabling, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beechenlea Lane, Swanley, on or after 17th September 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Swanley Village Road to the railway bridge.
The alternative route is via Beechenlea Lane, B2173 London Road, B258 High Street, B258 Swanley Lane, Highlands Hill, Swanley Village Road and vice versa.
Butchers Lane, Ash, TN15 7HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the replacement of one existing telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Butchers Lane, Ash, on or after 3rd September 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Cottage, Johnsons Farm.
The alternative route is via Butchers Lane, Chapel Wood Road, West Yoke and vice versa.
Castle Hill, Hartley, DA3 8LU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the replacement of one existing telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Hill, Hartley, on or after 3rd September 2026 for up to 2 days between 08:00hrs and 16:00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hazel Bank.
The alternative route is via Castle Hill, Fawkham Road, B260 Main Road, Hartley Road, Ash Road and vice versa.
Crouch House Road, Edenbridge, TN8 5LG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Crouch House Road, Edenbridge, on or after 1st September 2026 for up to 2 days between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to Firlees.
The alternative route is via Crouch House Road, Stangrove Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way/Station Road/Main Road, Hilders Lane, Little Browns Lane and vice versa.
Dennetts Land Road, Crockham Hill, TN8 6RU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dennetts Land Road, Crockham Hill, on or after 14th September 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from B2026 Main Road heading eastbound for 450m.
The alternative route is via B2026 Main Road, B269 Spout Lane and vice versa.
Emmetts Lane, Ide Hill, TN14 6AY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Emmetts Lane, Ide Hill, on or after 14th September 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near Pigeon Croft.
The alternative route is via Emmetts Lane, Chart Lane, A25 High Street/Main Road, Church Road, Ide Hill Road and vice versa.
Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, TN15 7LA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of works to rectify a defect, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, on or after 16th September 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Whispers.
The alternative route is via Hodsoll Street, Haven Hill, Pease Hill, Ridley Hill, Bunkers Hill Road, Chapmans Hill, A227 Wrotham Road, Hodsoll Street and vice versa.
How Green Lane, Hever, TN8 7PR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the replacement of one existing telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of How Green Lane, Hever, on or after 2nd September 2026 for up to 2 days between 08:00hrs and 16:30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with B2027 Clinton Lane.
The alternative route is via B2027 Clinton Lane, B2027 Chequers Hill, Hever Road, How Green Lane and vice versa.
Main Road, Knockholt, TN14 7NU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of drainage cleansing works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Main Road, Knockholt, on or after 2nd September 2026 for up to 1 night between 22.00hrs and 02.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Burlings Lane and Mount Cottage.
The alternative route is via Cudham Lane South, Cudham Lane North, A21 Sevenoaks Road, Rushmore Hill, Main Road and vice versa.
Pear Tree Close, Swanley, BR8 7US (PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of the installation of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit pedestrian traffic on part of the footpath on Pear Tree Close, Swanley, on or after 1st September 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The footpath will be closed outside number 26.
The alternative route is via Shurlock Avenue, Pear Tree Close and vice versa.

Because of Toys Hill Village Show, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Puddledock Lane, Westerham, on or after 5 September 2026 for up to 1 day between 13.30hrs and 18.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Village Hall.

Because of the replacement of one existing telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Toys Hill, Brasted, on or after 2nd September 2026 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to Boons Wood.

Because of Ses Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wellers Town Road, Chiddingstone Hoath, on or after 14th September 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside the entrance to Watstock Farm Cottages.

Because of a detailed examination of rail over road bridge, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wilson Lane, South Darenth, on or after 20th September 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 20m either side of the railway bridge.
The alternative route is via Wilson Lane, Rabbits Road, East Hill, Shrubbery Road, Holmesdale Hill, Gills Road and vice versa.
