The Cornwall Council (Public Footpath No. 1 (part) Parish) (Place) Public Path Diversion Order 2025
The above order made by Cornwall Council on 28 July 2026 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will, if confirmed, divert a length of Public Footpath Number 16 in the Parish of St Merryn commencing at its junction with Classified Road (CO57) 230 metres south-west of 'Trehemborne Farm' at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SW 87015/73168 then continuing in an east-north-easterly direction for 162 metres to where it terminates at its junction with Classified Road (B3276) 92 metres south-south-west of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87160/73239 to a revised line commencing at length of Public Footpath in the Parish of St Merryn commencing at its junction with Classified Road (CO57), 231 meters south-west of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87011/73169 then continuing in a north-north-easterly direction for 177 metres terminating at its junction with a length of Public Footpath in the Parish of St Merryn to be created by this Order 73 meters west of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87107/73317.
Together with a length of Public Footpath Number 12 in the Parish of St Merryn commencing at its junction with a length of Footpath 12 St Merryn to be retained 67 metres north-west of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87119/73359 then continuing in a south-south-easterly direction for 42 metres to a point where it terminates short of its junction with Classified Road (B3276) 42 metres west of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87137/73322 together with the entirety of an unrecorded Public Footpath in the Parish of St Merryn commencing at its junction with a length of Footpath 12 St Merryn to be diverted by this Order 42 metres west of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87137/73322 then continuing in an east-south-easterly then south-south-easterly direction for 76 metres to where it terminates at its junction with Classified Road (B3276) 58 metres south of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87186/73272 to a revised line commencing at a length of Public Footpath in the Parish of St Merryn commencing at its junction with a length of Footpath 12 St Merryn to be retained 67 metres north-west of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87119/73359 then continuing in a southerly direction for 45 metres to its junction with a length of Public Footpath in the Parish of St Merryn to be created by this Order at OSGR SW 87107/73317 then continuing in an east-south-easterly then south-south-easterly then south-south-westerly direction for 126 metres terminating at its junction with Classified Road (B3276) 92 metres south-south-west of'Trehemborne Farm' at OSGR SW 87160/73239.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Officer at Public Rights of Way, Cornwall Council, New County Hall, TR1 3AY or by email to proworders@cornwall.gov.uk. (quoting reference HAD 307) no later than 23 September 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, then Cornwall Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
