(D) WIRRAL COUNCIL (BIRKENHEAD AREA) (WAITING, LOADING & PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2006 (AMENDMENT NO 1) 2026

The extension of the prohibition of waiting at all times, on the east side of Corinthian Street.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

The proposed Order will amend Schedule 2 of the Wirral Council (Birkenhead Area) (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) Order, 2006 to revoke the existing parking restrictions on the east side of Corinthian Street and the reinstatement of the introduction of no waiting for vehicles at any time, on all days on Corinthian Street, northeast side, from its junction with Bedford Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction and the introduction of No Waiting between 8am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday, Corinthian Street, northeast side, From its junction with Howson Street in a southerly direction to a point 25 metres north of its junction with Bedford Road.

(E) WIRRAL BOROUGH COUNCIL

(GREENBANK ROAD, WEST KIRBY) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026

The introduction of a prohibition on waiting on Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 5pm, around the junction of Greenbank Road and Anglesey Road, and along part of the north side of Greenbank Road.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

The introduction of no waiting for vehicles at all times on Saturday and Sunday, between the hours of 9am and 5pm, on Anglesey Road, West side, from its junction with Greenbank Road for a distance of 10 metres, in a south westerly direction; on Anglesey Road, East side from its junction with Greenbank Road for a distance of 29 metres, in a southerly direction and on Greenbank Road, North side, between its junctions with Anglesey Road and Grainger Road.

(F) WIRRAL COUNCIL (WALLASEY AREA) (WAITING, LOADING & PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2007 AMENDMENT NO 1 2026

Prohibition of loading and unloading at all times and on all days, on the existing extents of double yellow lines (No Waiting at any time) at the junction of Hartington Road, Lathom Avenue and Parkfield Drive, Liscard.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

The amendment to schedule 3 of the Wirral Council (Wallasey Area) (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) Order, 2007 by the introduction of a prohibition of loading or unloading for vehicles at any time on; Hartington Road (Both Sides), from the junction with Parkfield Drive in a south westerly direction for a distance of 3 metres, Lathom Avenue (Northwest side) from the junction with Parkfield Drive in a north easterly direction for a distance of 5 metres, Lathom Avenue (Southeast side) from the junction with Parkfield Drive in a north easterly direction for a distance of 2 metres, Parkfield Drive (southwest side) from a point 4 metres north west of the junction with Hartington Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of 21 metres and Parkfield Drive (Northeast side) from a point 7 metres north west of the junction with Lathom Avenue in a south easterly direction for a distance of 23 metres.

The orders set out in this notice shall come into operation on 7th of September 2026. A copy of the Orders, together with the relevant plans and statement of reasons, can be requested via email at trafficschemefeedback@wirral.gov.uk or via the contact centre 0151 606 2004. It will also be available for inspection by visiting the licensing department, at the Councils Principal Office: Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton St, Wallasey CH44 8ED between 9.30am & 12pm and 2pm & 4pm, Monday to Friday, quoting the above scheme reference.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or any provision contained within it, on the grounds that it or any of its provisions are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under it has not been complied with may within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for that purpose to the High Court.

SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED)

NOTICE OF MAKING TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION ORDER IN THE WALLASEY AREA 2026

Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council have made the above order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 1 and Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers to enable proposed works to be executed on or near the roads specified in the proposed order (having already advertised notice of intent).

The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order comes into force and its maximum duration is set out below.

Fort Street (Temporary Road Closure) Wallasey Order 2026

The effect of this order will be to close Fort Street, Wallasey from its junction with Magazine Brow to its junction with Aylesbury Road to all vehicular traffic. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.

Alternative Route: Fort Street, Nelson Street, Magazine Lane, Magazine Brow.

Maximum Duration of the order: From 07 September 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 September 2026.

SECTION 123 AS AMENDED BY PARAGRAPH 14 OF PART V OF SCHEDULE

23 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PLANNING AND LAND ACT 1980

TAKE NOTICE that Wirral Borough Council in pursuance of its powers contained in the above-mentioned Act intends to dispose of an area of public open space land adjacent to 127 Kings Drive Thingwall Wirral CH61 9QE containing approximately thirty seven square metres (37 sqm).

The plan showing the area of public open space land to be disposed of can be provided by either email on request by emailing enquiriesestatestteam@wirral.gov.uk or by writing to the Director of Property & Investment, Wirral Borough Council, P.O.
