RHODDIR RHYBUDD y bydd y Gorchymyn uchod a wnaed gan Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy ar 9 Chwefror 2026, a oedd i ddod i ben ar 18 Awst 2026, yn parhau i fod yn weithredol gyda chymeradwyaeth Gweinidogion Cymru tan ac yn cynnwys 17 Chwefror 2027. Mae angen y Gorchymyn oherwydd peryglon tebygol i’r cyhoedd.
Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd yw gwahardd unrhyw gerddwr neu gerbyd (ac eithrio mynediad) i fynd ar hyd Cilffordd 34 yng nghymuned Eglwysbach, yn dechrau o Ffordd Plas Drain yng nghyfeirnod grid SH 8119 6667 drwy’r fynedfa hyd at ochr ddwyreiniol Pennant Lodge, ac yna’n parhau tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain gan basio i ochr orllewinol Drovers Cottage a Pennant Hill Cottage lle mae’r gillffordd yn diweddu yn ei chyffordd gyda Lon Pennant yng nghyfeirnod grid SH 8152 6752.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
Conwy County Borough Council (Byway 34 Eglwysbach) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Vehicles) Order 2026
NOTICE IS given that the above named Order made by the Conwy County Borough Council on 9 February 2026 and which was due to expire on 18 August 2026, has been continued in force with the approval of the Welsh Ministers until and including 17 February 2027. The Order is necessary for the reason of likelihood of danger to the public.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedestrian or vehicle (except for access) to proceed in the full length of Byway 34 in the community of Eglwysbach commencing from Ffordd Plas Drain at grid reference SH 8119 6667 proceeding through the gateway and passing to the eastern side of Pennant Lodge then continuing in a north easterly direction passing to the west side of Drovers Cottage and Pennant Hall Cottage the byway ends at its junction with Lon Pennant at grid reference SH 8152 6752
