TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
Notice is hereby given that on 25 August 2026 Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will come into force on 28 August 2026.
THE CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CHESTER ROAD, MALPAS TO HAMPTON) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 30 mph speed limit on Chester Road, Malpas, from a point 301 metres north of the centre line of Greenway Lane to a point 376 metres north of the centre line of Greenway Lane, a distance of 75 metres.
The Order will also consolidate existing speed limits.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or to any provisions contained in it, on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instruments made under it have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of 25 August 2026 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
