Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (Kelvedon Hall Lane, Church Road, Beacon Hill, Kelvedon Hatch) (Appetite on the Farm) (Special Event) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2026

1. Temporary ‘closure’ on Kelvedon Hall Lane, Church Road, Beacon Hill, Kelvedon Hall Lane and Church Road as below. In the Borough of Brentwood.

Road - Description - Diversion Route

Kelvedon Hall Lane From its junction with A128 Ongar Road, southwest to its junction with Church Road. Access only for residents and pre-approved vehicles will be maintained via Kelvedon Hall Lane junction with A128 Ongar Road. N/A

Church Road From its junction with Kelvedon Hall Lane to its junction with Church Close. Access only for residents and pre-approved vehicles will be maintained via Kelvedon Hall Lane junction with A128 Ongar Road. N/A

Beacon Hill, Kelvedon Hatch From its junction with Kelvedon Hall Lane, southeast for approximately 200 metres Howard Lodge Road, Dudbrook Road, Crown Road, Ongar Road and vice versa.

2. Temporary’ Clearway’ on Kelvedon Hall Lane, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood.

Road - Description Direction

Kelvedon Hall Lane From its junction with A128 Ongar Road, southwest to its junction with Church Road. Access is only for residents and pre-approved vehicles will be maintained via Kelvedon Hall Lane junction with Ongar Road.

Southwest Church Road From its junction with Kelvedon Hall Lane east to its junction with Church Close Access only for residents and pre-approved vehicles will be maintained via Kelvedon Hall Lane junction with Ongar Road. Northeast/east

(A128 Ongar Road, Kelvedon Hatch) (Appetite on the Farm) (Special Event) (Temporary 30MPH Speed Limit) Order 2026

Road - Description

A128 Ongar Road, Kelvedon Hatch Approximately 250 metres south of the entrance of Kelvedon Hall, north for approximately 750 metres

The above road is currently national speed limit.

The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-street parking) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the said lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The temporary restrictions are scheduled to commence on 29 August 2026 to 30 August 2026 between the hours of 0800 and 2359 and are required for public safety while the Appetite on the Farm event takes place.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained across all closure points

The Order will come into effect 29 August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the event has been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Kelvedon Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 35m south west of its junction with Ongar Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WGTV2C9M – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Church Road, Ongar Road, Crown Road, Dudbrook Road, Howard Lodge Road, Beacon Hill Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Coxtie Green Road, Pilgrims Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coxtie Green Road, Pilgrims Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 285m south west of its junction with Dytchleys Lane for a distance of approximately 65m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGSP0V9Z – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Coxtie Green Road, Weald Road, Western Road, Western Avenue, Ongar Road, Coxtie Green Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Days Lane, Doddinghurst) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Days Lane, Doddinghurst in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 45m south west of its junction with Wishfields Farm for a distance of approximately 505m in a southerly then south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGSP088L – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Days Lane, Crow Green Road, Crow Green Lane, Hatch Road, Doddinghurst Road, Days Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bird Lane, Little Warley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bird Lane, Little Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Magpie Lane to its other junction with Magpie Lane a distance of approximately 110m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (NK103DIS172268-1 – Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber construction works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

An alternative route is available via Magpie Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 19th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ingatestone Road, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ingatestone Road, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 190m north east of its junction with Wenlocks Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WH1DWT0N – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Ingatestone Road, Chelmsford Road, Blackmore Road, Ingatestone Road, Ivy Barn Lane, Writtle Road, Wantz Road, B1002, Thoby Lane, Swallows Cross Road, Mountnessing Road, Ingatestone Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 26th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pine Drive, Ingatestone) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pine Drive, Ingatestone in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 30m north west of its junction with Pine Close for a distance of approximately 65m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th September 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013348988 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via Pine Drive, Pine Close, Park Drive, High Street, Pine Drive and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 19th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
