The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.35) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a northern part width of Strand Street at Vauxhall, in the City of Liverpool.
This is to enable development as permitted by Liverpool City Council, under reference 19F/0878.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO9588164). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Liverpool City Council, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 28 August 2026.
