What is happening?

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CREATE A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER FOR PLANNED
WORKS AFFECTING: VARIOUS ROADS, NORTHOLT.
Ealing Council intends to make the following temporary traffic order under
section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Title of order
This order can be referred to as: Temporary traffic order for planned works - TT 5335 Various Roads, Northolt - 2026.
Reason for order
This order is needed to allow for works taking place on or near the road.
These works involve Pegasus Utility Services laying new high voltage power cables.
Effect of order
1. This order will impose restrictions for traffic, refer to schedule on page 2 of
this order.
2. The following temporary restrictions on vehicle movements will take effect
from 18th September 2026.
3. No entry into the fully closed section(s) as illustrated in the schedule (page 2).
4. No waiting, loading, or unloading on either side of the carriageway within the fully closed section.
5. While the temporary restrictions are in place, displaced vehicles must comply with any traffic management measures.
6. This Order does not apply to:
7. anything done at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer (PCSO).
8. any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance.
Date order will come into force. 18th September 2026
Maximum duration of order
This order will expire on 16th March 2028 or, on completion of the works, which is expected to be 9th December 2026, whichever is sooner.

Only one directional closure will be implemented at any one time during this phase of works to allow access/egress on Rectory Park Road. |

| Phase 7 | 26/11/26 to 6/12/26 | This order will close the (slip road only) on Ruislip Road from property number 234 (junction of Ferrymead Avenue) to 246 Ruislip Road. And from 246 Ruislip Road to 252 Ruislip Road (second junction with Ferrymead Avenue). |
