What is happening?

THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MIDDLESBROUGH (ALAN PEACOCK WAY) CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD HUMPS AND OTHER TRAFFIC CALMING WORKS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough ("The Council") in exercise of its powers under Section 90A, 90C and 90G of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers proposes to add traffic calming measures on the road(s) and of a type as specified in the Schedule hereto. A copy of this Notice and a plan showing the lengths of road affected may be inspected at Central Library, Centre Square, Middlesbrough, TS1 2AY Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9am - 5pm and at www.middlesbrough.gov.uk. If you wish to object to the proposals you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the undersigned no later than 21 days from the date of this Notice. If no objections are received the works will proceed without further notice. 

SCHEDULE
Speed cushions: approx. max. dimensions 1.8m by 2.5m, max. height 75mm - 81m south of the southern kerb line of Mewburn Avenue, 97m and 200m south-east of the eastern kerbline of the vehicular access to M'bro Velodrome, 10m and 126m west of the western kerbline of the vehicular access to M'bro Velodrome. Full width raised flat top road humps: approx. max. dimensions 5.5m by 6.5m, max. height 100mm at 19m north of the northern kerb line and 190m south of the southern kerb line of Mewburn Avenue (at footway crossing points). Build out, approx. dimensions 4m by 2m at 150m north of the northern kerb line of Mewburn Avenue.
