BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(RUSKIN ROAD, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Ruskin Road from its junction with Balderstone Road for a distance of 23 metres
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Ruskin Road from its junction with Balderstone Road for a distance of 23 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate Carriageway resurfacing within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 07:30 on the 1st September 2026 until 17:00 on the 23rd December 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Daventry Road, Hogarth Road, Curzon Road & vice versa.
(MOORGATE AVENUE, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Moorgate Avenue from its junction with Bury Road for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along along Moorgate Avenue from its junction with Bury Road for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair of a waste water cover within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 14th September 2026 until 18:00 on the 14th September 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Bury Road, Fieldhead Avenue, Kenion Road & vice versa.

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING PARKING BAY & TAXI RANK AND INTRODUCE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily;
(i) Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Rochdale Township) Order 2008 Schedule No.9.3 Disabled parking Place 10am-6pm North side of road From a point 30metres north west of its junction with The Esplande for a distance of 23 metres in a north westerly direction. Schedule No.7.8 Taxi Rank No Waiting 6.00pm- 10am North side of road From a point 30metres north west of its junction with The Esplande for a distance of 23 metres in a north westerly direction.
(ii) Introduce temporary prohibition of waiting at any time order.
The Order is required to facilitate a new electricity connection within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 9th September 2026 until 23:59 on the 11th September 2026.
(CLAPGATE ROAD, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Clapgate Road from a point 2 metres south of its junction with Whittaker Street for a distance of 15metres in a southerly direction.
(ii) Temporarily prohibit vehicles waiting at any time along Clapgate Road from a point 2 metres south of its junction with Whittaker Street for a distance of 15metres in a southerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate a new water connection.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 17th September 2026 until 23:59 on the 19th September 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.
