Temporary Closure of Whatley Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Whatley Lane - from 139 metres north the junction with Ammerham Lane, northwards for a total distance of 24 metres.

This Order will enable Xeiad to carry out a bridge inspection on behalf of Network Rail.

The Order becomes effective on 9th September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 19th September 2026 and last until 20th September 2026 between the hours of 22:00 - 06:00 for a total of 1 night.
