TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401296 MOONS LANE TO SIBLEY ROAD (BISLEY WITH LYPIATT PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401296 Moons Lane to Bisley Road from its junction with Holloway Road Bisley to Bakers Mill to outside of the property known as “Lillyhorn Cottage” for a distance of approximately 90 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The road is expected to be closed from 31st August 2026 to 11th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE VARIOUS ROADS (MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the roads as described in the schedule below;

The reason for the closure is for telecommunication infrastructure installation and repair works.

The road is expected to be closed from 1st September 2026 to 3rd September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF B4058 HILLCREST TO ARCHDALE (HORSLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4058 Hillcrest to Archdale from its junction with Dowend to its junction with Horsley Hill for a distance of approximately 200 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for gas main replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed from the 1st September 2026 until 30th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed from 1st September 2026 until 2nd September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for carriageway repair works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A45 Bath Road from its junction with Bear Hill to its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 500 metres. The reason for the closure is for repairs to carriageway.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 18:00 on 29th August 2026 and 30th August 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for tree works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 5th September 2026 until 6th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401436 The Roundabouts from outside the property known as ‘Corner Stores’ to its junction with Spinney Court for a distance of approximately 175 metres. The reason for the closure is for BT installation works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 3rd September 2026 until 4th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS EGO 15 AND EGO 17 (GREAT OLDBURY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths EGO 15 and EGO 17 as described in the Schedule below;

Public Footpath EGO 17 is to be closed from its junction with Public Bridleway EGO 18 in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 260 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EGO 16.

Public Footpath EGO 15 is to be closed from its junction EGO 17 in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 140 metres at its junction with Public Footpath EGO 14.

The footpaths fall within the Parish of Great Oldbury within Stroud District, Gloucestershire.

The closures are necessary to protect the safety of the public during construction works.

The Order will come into force on the 2nd September 2026, and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will close on that day until 3rd March 2027. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The road is expected to be closed on 13th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for underground road works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 16th September 2026 until 18th September 2026.

The reason for the closure is for safety during urgent works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The road was originally closed for 5 days by Notice which commenced on the 20th August 2026. The works have not been completed and it has therefore been necessary to make an Order. This Order may close the road for up to 18 months from the date of the said Notice, or until the works have been completed.

The reason for the closure is for safety during urgent works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The road was originally closed for 5 days, by Notice, which commenced on the 20th August 2026. The works have not been completed and it has been necessary to make an Order. This Order may close the road for up to 18 months from the date of this Notice, or until the works have been completed.
