Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newlyn. This prohibition is necessary for drainage and table top works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2026 to 15th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newlyn. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st September 2026 to 25th September 2026. This prohibition is necessary for defect repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st September 2026 to 23rd September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1730, weekdays only.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd August 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 2, St Ives for its entire length. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public during works the repairs to a collapsing retaining wall. The Order will come into operation on 24th August 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 3rd November 2026.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 3rd August 2026 fora period of up to 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
