(SALEM LANE, WELLINGBOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Salem Lane, Wellingborough as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Salem Lane, Wellingborough from High Street to outside Court Offices.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecoms maintenance.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 3 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use High Street and Queen Street.

(FINEDON STATION ROAD, ISHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Finedon Station Road, Isham as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Finedon Station Road, Isham from Furnace Lane to Queensway.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gully cleansing.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Rushden as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Rushden from Church Street to Skinners Hill.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new gas mains laying.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stamford Road, Thorpe Malsor/Rothwell/Rushton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stamford Road, Thorpe Malsor/Rothwell/Rushton from Rockingham Road roundabout to Stamford Road roundabout.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during Parish enhancement works – drainage cleansing, litter picking and pothole repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Broughton Road, Pytchley from Pytchley Road to A43.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during fire hydrant works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Irthlingborough Road, Little Addington from the junction with Church Walk to the junction with Chapel Hill.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during culvert jetting works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
