TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH CHESHUNT 014
NOTICE is given that Broxbourne Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using the length of Footpath Cheshunt 014, commencing at Great Cambridge Road and running in a generally west then south-westwards direction for approximately 765 metres to a junction with Cheshunt Footpath 13 (Near the New River Path).
The alternative route for pedestrians for Footpath Cheshunt 014 will be to continue south along the newly created path running along the fence towards the New River Path, and then north along the New River Path to the intersection of Cheshunt footpath 013 and 014.
The purpose of the Order is to enable the landowner to carry out maintenance works.
That section of footpath Cheshunt 014 will be closed on or after 7 September 2026 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 6 months to complete.
