Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (Public Footpath No. 317 in the Community of Crucorney) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians in the length of public footpath no. 317 in the Community of Crucorney which extends for a distance of approximately 150 metres or thereabouts in a generally west north westerly direction from the junction with footpaths nos. 483 and 484 at grid reference 333145,221792 at the footbridge over the river Honddu and across the railway to the public road at grid reference 336016,221847.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure public safety as works are taking place along the footpath. An alternative route is available via footpaths no. 484 and 485 and along the Longtown road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on the 9th September 2026 and it is anticipated that it will be in force for a maximum period of 6 months. Any further extension of the Order beyond six months will be subject to the consent of the Welsh Ministers.

RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog yn bwriadu, dim llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad y Rhybudd hwn, i wneud Gorchymyn, effaith yr hyn fydd i wahardd cerddwyr rhag myned ar hyd llwybr troed rhif 317 yng Nghymuned Crucornau sydd yn rhedeg am bellter o oddeutu 150 metr i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y gorllewin gogledd orllewin o’r gyffordd gyda llwybrau troed rhifau 483 a 484 yng nghyfeirnod grid 333145,221792 ar y bont droed dros afon Honddu ac ar draws y rheilffordd i’r ffordd gyhoeddus yng nghyfeirnod grid 336016,221847.

Mae’r gwaharddiad yn angenrheidiol i sicrhau diogelwch y cyhoedd gan fod gwaith yn cymeryd lle ar hyd y llwybr. Mae ffordd amgen ar gael ar hyd llwybrau troed rhifau 484 a 485 ac ar hyd y ffordd i Longtown ac i’r gwrthwyneb.

Bydd y Gorchymyn yn dod i rym ar y 9fed o Fedi 2026 ac yn debygol o fod yn weithredol am 6 mis fan hiraf. Bydd unrhyw estyniad yn fwy na 6 mis yn ddarostyngedig ar ganiatad Gweinidogion Cymru.
