Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 26 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Star Hill (D125) Churt as extends from its junction with (D125) Simmondstone Lane to its junction with the access to the properties known as “La Terre”, “Mayrose Barn” and “Larchwood House”. Alternative Route – Star Hill; Lampard Lane; A287 Churt Road; and Star Hill or this same route in reverse. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 04 September 2026 is required to facilitate overhead cabling works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of BT Openreach within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for Residents within the closure area, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via operatives on site, all other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Old Lane (D120) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 21 August 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Old Lane (D120) Farnham as extends from its junction with The Street (C26) to the access for “Temple Pool”. Alternative route – High Thicket Road and The Street, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 11 September 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Hale House Lane (D127) Churt
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Hale House Lane (D127) Churt as extends from its junction with (D130) Old Barn Lane north-eastwards for a distance of 100 metres. Alternative Route – Hale House Lane; Crabtree Lane; Jumps Road; Tilford Road; and Hale House Lane or this same route in reverse. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 25 September 2026 is required to facilitate overhead cabling works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Virgin Media within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be as soon as possible over 1 day between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, all other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Arthur Road (D5318) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Arthur Road (D5318) Farnham as extends from its junction with (D5318) Arthur Close to its junction with (X67399) Avon Road; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Arthur Road (D5318) and Woodhill Lane (D118) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” and Suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in Waverley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.4) 2026” insofar as it affects that length of road in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: Weydon Hill Road, (B3384) Ridgway Road, (A287) Firgrove Hill, and Arthur Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate sewer pipe repair works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 21 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
East Street (B3228) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of East Street (B3228) Farnham eastbound as extends from its junction with Dogflud Way (B3228) to its junction with St James Court (X67784).
Alternative route – B3228 (Dogflud Way and East Street), A287 (South Street), B3001 (South Street), A31 (Farnham By-Pass), A325 (Farnborough Road), and B3007 (Hale Road). This Order is required to enable Connect It Utility Services to facilitate high voltage works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 21 September 2026 for 1 month between the hours of 8.00pm and 4.00am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
