(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BA1/46, HANTONE HILL, BATHAMPTON)
DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2026
The above Order made on 16th April 2026, has been confirmed by Bath and North East Somerset Council without modification.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them the footpath commencing from a junction with Hantone Hill at grid reference ST 7788 6569 (Point A on the Order Map) and proceeding in a generally east-south-easterly direction between houses for approximately 103 metres to grid reference ST 7797 6564 (Point B on the Order Map) and continuing for 11 metres to a junction with public footpath BA1/25 at grid reference ST 7798 6564 (Point C on the Order Map). A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at The One Stop Shop at 3-4 Manvers Street, Bath during normal office hours.

The order came into effect on 18th June 2026 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, within forty two days from the date of this notice make an application to the High Court.
