What is happening?

D3489 Prior Road, Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D3489 Prior Road, Camberley which extends from its junction with Springfield Road to its junction with Saville Gardens.

This Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services to carry out pole replacement and tree cutting works, which is anticipated to be completed within 8 days between 8.00am and 2.45pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 11 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restriction will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents, businesses, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Alternative Route – Portsmouth Road, Chobham Road and Upper Chobham Road.
